Hey there, my name is Julia! My hometown is Marshall, Minnesota but I am proud to be a Jackrabbit at SDSU in Brookings. I come from a family of 5: a brother, a sister, and my awesome parents. I have many hobbies: skiing, learning, cooking, kids, playing tennis, playing the piano, and of course drawing. While nursing is my major at SDSU, I have always had a passion for art, creativity, and design. Over the past year, I have found myself sketching quite a bit (probably in an anatomy lecture or something). Seeing beautiful signs in shops and Pinterest gave me the idea to make my own decorative signs. In May of 2017 I posted on Facebook about my sign making and realized that many people were interested in hand-made signs. This website is simply a tool to make sign ordering and viewing easier. My business name Just Jules may fool you. Ironically, it isn't in fact JUST me. My right hand man, my dad, spends a ton of his time helping me out with cutting and putting together signs. I hope someday, just maybe someday I will learn how to do everything on my own, but as of now it's good father daughter bonding time! Oh yes, and my mom, helps spread the word of my signs. So it should actually be Just Jules and her parents! Lastly, I wouldn't be able to do this with out all of you. I can't thank you all enough for considering my work and ordering fun signs!  I am so excited to see where this journey takes me and am ready to be busy with more of your sign orders!
